The Bible gives us many teachings and ideas concerning our conduct and how to live our lives. The following is a brief list, with scripture references, of the most important doctrines taught in The Holy Bible.
We Believe: That the Bible is the inspired word of God and the only infallible rule of faith and conduct for all people. (II Timothy 3:16; Revelation 22:18,19; Hebrews 4:12; I Peter 1:23-25) That there is one God, creator of all things, who has revealed Himself to us as
the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 3:16,17; Luke 1:35; I Timothy 3:16; I John 5:7; Isaiah 9:6) That the Son of God, Jesus Christ, was begotten of the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin Mary. (Luke 1:26-38; Matthew 1:18) That Jesus Christ died on the cross for the sins of the world, rose from the dead, and ascended to heaven to be with His Father. (Philippians 2:8; Hebrews 12:2; Matthew 28:5-6) That all have sinned and are by their sins separated from God. (Romans 3:23; Isaiah 59:2; I John 1:8-10) That our Heavenly Father offers forgiveness of our sins and the gift of eternal life to everyone that believes in Jesus Christ and makes Him the Lord of their life. (John 3:16, 5:21-25, 11:25; Romans 3:19-24; Galatians 3:22) We believe in water baptism by immersion as commanded by Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38, 10:47,48, 19:1-5) We believe in the resurrection of the dead, the eternal happiness of the saved, and the eternal punishment of the lost. (I Corinthians 15:12-21; John 14:1-3; Hebrews 6:1-2; Revelation 20:12-15) We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as recorded in the New Testament. (Acts 2:1-4, 38,39, 10:44-46, 19:6; I Corinthians 12:1-10) We believe in divine healing through faith in Jesus Christ. (Isaiah 53:5; Ps. 103:2-3; James 5:14-16; Mark 11:23,24, 16:17,18) We believe it is our Heavenly Fathers desire for all believers in Christ to grow spiritually, prosper and be blessed. (Matthew 7:7-11; I Peter 5:7; III John 2) We believe in the personal and literal return of Jesus Christ to the Earth at His Second Coming. (John 14:1-3, I Thessalonians 4:15-17; Acts 1:9-11; Luke 21:27; Revelation 1:7)
